The Gathering at Stingray Bay
Zoobilation 2011 is scheduled for Thursday, September 22, beginning at 6 p.m. The event will be held at the Montgomery Zoo and the Mann Museum.
Hosted by the Montgomery Area Zoological Society, Zoobilation is a fun-filled, adult only, cocktail party and fundraiser. All attendees must be 21 years of age or older to attend the event. Admission is $50.00 per person. Tickets may be purchased online at ZoobilationOnline.com or at the Montgomery Zoo.
The night will include a variety of great-tasting food; cocktails and specialty drinks; energized live entertainment, action-packed live and silent auctions and many more surprises.
Past Zoobilations have aided the Zoo in building the African Elephant and North American River Otter exhibits with other projects like the Alligator exhibit and Sky Lift ride coming aboard soon.
Proceeds from this year’s Zoobilation will be used to build a touch-and-feel Stingray exhibit. Children and adults alike will be able to gather at Stingray Bay and experience a one-on-one encounter with a multitude of free-swimming stingrays.
Come be a part of it. The Montgomery Zoo has longstanding history in the Capitol City and River Region. From its humble beginning in the 1920s in Oak Park, the Montgomery Zoo has blossomed into a major zoological facility.
